Should Be Asleep By Now

So I creep upstairs to tuck him in, should be asleep by now. 8 years old and 10 o'clock don't get on so well but as I near the bedroom, something's very clear, That little sod, he's wide awake, and hiding somewhere here. 'oh Samuel' i start to call, ' should be in bed by now' 'come on now this isn't fun, we don't want to have to row' I hear a giggle from in his room, see bouncing on the bed! The little monkey jumps straight down and runs past me instead. 'come on, you're being silly' 'should be in bed by now' 'oh, don't climb in the wardrobe' 'you, know you're not allowed' I've had enough by now, I think, this is no child of mine. Any other night he'd be asleep by five past nine.
