Short Words

I did not think the task was hard To speak in one word form. "A child can do that well," I said. "For him it is the norm. I know this will be fun to do, I could win the first place prize." And then I found how tough it is To write with words small size. I tried and tried and tried once more, Each time big words were there. I have big thoughts, but must think small, My bright, bold dreams to share. Read on dear friend, the words I say Will jump right off the page And prove that you can do it too, Write for the young in age. 1/13/13
