Shooting Star
There once was a star
In the north, shining brightly
The winds would blow hard
But she held her spot tightly
Though appearing quite firm
She was losing grip
Her grasp on the night sky
Was beginning to slip
The unexpected happened
The star began to fall
Her light slowly dying
It was a shock to them all
Now when you gaze up
You'll still see from afar
Hoping she'd return north
Wishing upon your shooting star
