Shooting Star
I’ve witnessed my brethren rise and fall,
with death’s glare as glorious as the fetal spark;
Never have I ceased to gaze them all,
for I’m a messenger of the cosmic dark.
After a Millennium of the mundane rut,
the Gaia’s gleam awoke my interest;
Myriad of voices filled the gaping void,
but one so brilliant to deem the rest devoid.
A voice that I longed forever to hear,
through shrouded loneliness and the darkness so clear;
I heed the wish of a gentle heart,
that liberated me free as I did my life's part.
