Ship Mary Rose
Ship Mary Rose
Paint me a picture of the Mary Rose, a fine ship
A tall ship with full blown sails
that’s on a far ocean trip.
A wind jammer that’s weathered many gales
On its way to China land for exotic tea
A tall ship with full blown sails
Clipper’s capacity a thousand tons is she
Manned by the finest seaman this world has ever seen
On its way to China land for exotic tea.
Of all the ships that ever sailed she’s queen
The Mary Rose out of Liverpool’s coast city
Manned by the finest seaman this world has ever seen
Of the Mary Rose that left port when it was cold and nippy
“Away haul away, Oh haul away Joe”
The Mary Rose out of Liverpool’s coast city
That morn sky threatened a stiff blow
Paint me a picture of the Mary Rose, a fine ship
“Away haul away, Oh haul away Jo
that’s on a far ocean trip.
