“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16 of the King James Bible
Shimmering with wondrous truth’s radiance
Honest trust beams against obscure deceit
Illumined to smite lurking falsity…
Nestling inside God’s gleaming assurance
Enlightened for freedom bliss’ sharing treat
Optimizing vibrant faith verity…
Now, my soul glows with blest redemption praise.
Sizzling midst ennui of boredom’s variance
Hope sparkles though attacking doubts do greet
Inspiring service with prayer beauty…
Nourished by gracious kindness-endurance
Exposing worship in fellowship sweet
Offering forgiveness from love’s bounty…
Now, my heart shines toward gratitude blaze.
Modified Hybronnet of 14 lines with rhyme scheme abc-abc-d; abc-abc-d, amidst Acrostic form.
