She's Out There

She’s out there, Beyond leaves turned ocher And pines in breeze atremble … She’s out there, Glimpsing, too, this white-hot sun Aloft in pale, bright blue … She’s out there, At her job away from home These many lonesome hours … Yes, she’s out there, But within my heart Each moment does she linger.

Thanks again, Heidi. (Really, this is just warmup for next week when work takes her to the other coast. I'll likely ooze sad and lonely then!) Appreciate it, Dave

A poem so lonely when the significant other must travel in her occupation. It touched my heart.

And all next week she's clear on the other coast! (My muse will demand overtime pay ...) Anyway, thanks for your compliment. I appreciate it, Dave
