Sherri At Three
Snuggled deeply in her bed,
Dreams are playing in her head.
Quiet and peaceful she lays there,
Relaxed face and tumbled hair.
Peaceful she is when at rest
And her behavior at its best.
In the morning the sun will rise
And once again she'll open her eyes.
Up and about to greet the day,
Out of her bed and off to play.
Not at all the same little one
Who was so still when day was done.
