Shedding the Pain

You've lived life, Full of abuse. Looking at each day Thinking what's the use. "Who could care about, A person like me? I live with so much pain, That's all they can see." "I've reached out for help, But when will it come? I am so apprehensive, To trust just anyone." Jesus Christ is the answer, He'll help you through. Surrender it all to Him, Letting Him work in you. The road may be rough, From your point of view. But He will make that change, Giving you life that's new! One day at a time, Closer to Jesus you'll be.
