She Writes Her Heart

Blood flows freely from her fresh tapped vein spilling more than just crimson red droplets out pours passion, pent up passion that has been locked inside for what seems like an eternity and emotions emotions that once were expressed openly echoed from the chamber of her heart until that day that fateful day when he he slammed her shut trapping her soul her love afraid to lose her self her purpose her calling she hid she hid deep inside not letting anyone see not letting herself breathe dying alone but tonight tonight she writes showing her feelings to you and to me tonight she opens her heart and is free

It is a refuge. For me at least. Thanks for taking time to read one of my simple poems dear.

if we can just find a way to get it out....then emotional pain will decrease its clout....to express the stress and how it drains....negativity will exit, and hope will remain....which is the one reason why....I will forever hold my pen high....wonderful write tim....
