She Was Special

She was special For such a long, long time . . . I knew her ways, Her hidden thoughts. She left me no surprises . . . Until . . . She was gone. It was my love for her. I missed . . . The touch of hand and soul, The sleeping - and the waking, The laughing - and the crying, . . . But, most of all . . . I missed the quiet times When soul touched soul And eyes spoke Quietly and softly, Until the heart of love was filled, And spilled in tears, Like gentle rain. The message of love was there Without the noise of words. And the touching of our hands . . . Revealed . . The fullness of our love. Reve
