She Smiled

She smiled. But deep inside Her soul hurt. Her mind was a mess. Her thoughts killed her. Yet she still smiled. Covering up the pain, Hiding it from the world. She was destroyed, Broken, Empty. But she still smiled. Slowly dying, From what was inside. Driving her insane. Yet she smiled. Drowning in darkness. Taunted by fears, Haunted by the memories. But she smiled. Because why show the pain, when no one cared.

Welcome to the Soup!! This is a very poignant poem underlining the acute pain an individual suffers when the world is just a passer-by.It also depicts the braveness of the individual to conceal the pain and instead pass away from the world with a smile.An act of great universal importance.I truly enjoyed reading your poem,and I am sure this will be a very inviting and interacting place to share poetry and learn from the masters.This place have loved me a lot,and I hope you feel the same too.
