She Sits Alone Contest
She sits to ponder, she sits to pray
She sits here almost every day
Alone in a vast space with no one to see her cry
She wishes someone come along and break the lonely tie
The disarray of her mind scattered on the ground
Some pieces lost never to be found
Alone she sits and Ponders this in the vast open space
Why must every time one leaves another takes its place
One thought trails away but not far behind is another
But she continues to sit alone missing the thought of each other
Someone to hold and someone to pry
Pry into her life but not make her cry
But until that day comes and she finds this dweller
She sits alone, seeming to the outside as an old Helen Keller
No word spoken no thoughts and nothing to see
It took awhile to realize that this girl that sits alone is me
