She Pleaded Her Case
She pleaded her case
She was a child dressed up in white lace.
She was told that people she know their place.
She knew then that the world leaders were just a disgrace.
She saw how they put people in different categories according to race.
Tears of sorrow fell down her face as she thought what a waste.
She began to speak without any haste.
She started to cry as she pleaded her case.
She started to talk in a slower pace.
She jumped to her feet as she looked in their face.
She pulled her hair back and she said this with grace.
We are one race, so where is your place
