She Married Me
She Married Me
Day has gone away and is now nigh
While many lives have all passed by
Now precious memories have became
And none had a fortune or any fame.
So simple in life was their each style
Always told truth and did not beguile
Much beauty around she had carried
My love who I one day had married.
My poem only a woman would understand
Weather was full of heat and face fanned
To cool myself off and one I love see
How glad I am that she married me.
