She Cries
Randomly she selects table
heads.
They all come specifically to dine.
Not caring how the foods are
made
Neither whence they come
from.
These things she does to have
fulfillment.
O but they care not.
Their dirty plates roam the
table.
To reprimand she's afraid.
The hanging light says prayers
For her sinking spirit to rise
Above the weakness to fight off
hypocrites
Keeping the dogs from barking.
The dear motherland cries.
Her children have her
disregarded.
Lo her dogs are there with
visions
That must be brought forth.
How long can a dog be kept
quiet?
