She

She was long and lean; Hair the color of cream. She was quite daring yet still she was caring; With a beauty that I'd never seen. She touched a place that I just can't face; Or even describe the feeling. Even still I don't know the source of the glow; Or the name of that in which I'm dealing. I shouldn't dare yet still I do care; For I loved her like never before. She never was mean she seemed like a dream; And her love I couldn't ignore. She was a lady of breeding yet it was me she was needing; And together we spent most of our time. She sat on my lap and together we'd nap; Till her body seemed as if part of mine. Sad though it be she's no longer with me; And when awake in that place where we sat; I look around but she's not to be found I miss her -------Salina my cat.
