Shattering and Crashing

SHATTERING and CRASHING An embattled moment gets frozen in time As an angry storm destroys a glass wind chime The last noise that it made was a shrill scream As if its whole existence was worked up to it's own shattering Being human we are designed to pick up the pieces Even though we risk cuts in finger creases A cut so quick and subtle you don't even feel But a cut in the crease takes the longest to heal Blind men flip rocks in the river Distraught with a muddy position While the bank upstream offers A crystal clear vision It's soothing to the soul to see whats what Don't throw that rock till you leave your glass hut Even though your target seems to be in perfect view Your world will come crashing down around you
