Shameful Parasites On the Public

Shameful Parasites On the Public By Elton Camp Here is what this write is intended to do It’s an indictment, not of most, but of few Law enforcement has people of integrity Who protectors of the public try to be Most every community will have some Who are ignorant, rude and greedy scum Police work is a last-resort job they take To give them a paid, extended coffee break They delight to hide behind a sign or tree So that passing motorists are unable to see There, well concealed, they will park Until they see one who’s an easy mark Young, elderly, Hispanic or black Siren wailing, they’re on the track Though the fine is their actual game The public’s safety is their bogus claim It’s in a speed trap that they’ve laid To keep their own salary well paid Of many small town, motorists beware For cops like this may be lurking there In such a place, never spend a dime They use cops who are stinking slime

They're more effective when visible. With cops all over the show we're more likely to toe the line. Nice one, Elton. :)

Here in Alabama, the highway patrol has started widespread use of unmarked cars that bear no resemblance to police vehicles. That, I think, is very wrong when used for general enforcement of traffic laws. It would be reasonable for undercover work to catch serious criminals. Imagine being stopped by some man in a black SUV with nothing but portable blue flashing lights slapped on the dashboard!

There is a town that does this just five miles from our house! Thanks for reading and commenting. Elton
