Shaft of Light

It was a dark and lonely night Suddenly there came a shaft of light My heart was jumping out of my skin While trying to keep all fears within I became silent, my legs became stiff I felt like I was pushed of a cliff Then suddenly I saw a strange ship I got so frightened that I bit my lip It came and disappeared Then again it reappeared Is it aliens or just a dream?
