Shadows
Every night i come to you
with eyes full of love i hold you
in a dream you won't remember
On empty sheets i kiss your lips
in a memory you don't recall
To the sand i tiptoe softly
following footprints which aren't there
Beneath stars I walk the path
of a destiny so long forgotten
With the shadow of the moon i dance
as i think of you
Pebbles i pick from a shore
which held your name
a Voice i hear in walking distance
a face i see,i do not recognize
maybe i do,and maybe i don't
but maybe, i keep on walking
maybe i keep on going
and maybe I won't turn back.
