Shadow Queen

They say she sees what no one else can, a seer beyond reality, finding that which hides behind the mirror, for mirrors always reflect the truth. She cried to the Moon in Her loneliness, wandering why none noticed Her anymore, never caring to see and understand who She truly was. Instead they shut Her out, an outcast, a ghost, floating through Her own solitary air, thinning out, as She wandered through the halls of distant memories. They say She went crazy from listening to the prayers that demanded the unnecessary, the sins of their souls, those voices that spoke to Her as silent as a whisper. She tried to help them remember: their past their hope their Goddess.
