I always said i would never be an old fuddy duddy. That I would always be the cool dad...but life has its own plans, I guess. I think it's a good thing.

truth spoken in just a few words. My shadow is changing into my mother's and my grandmother's. The reality of getting older strikes home so often. When I was younger, I never imagined what I'd be like as an older person--never crossed my mind. Yet, here I am :-) Enjoyed your read. Have a pleasant afternoon, Sara

I told my daughter-In -Law, that if she didn't like me, she probably married the wrong man. Because my son is now closing in on fifty and a carbon copy of me.

Thanks Bill. I remember when i was a teenager, I could have swore that I was adopted. It seemed like I was so different. But age has definitely proven that theory wrong.

Dear, Jerry, this had a very nice twist that I enjoyed. A very thought provoking piece that genetically can repeat. - Blessings, Daniel
