Shackles

Gripped by fear, you're afraid to live Hide in the shadows as time hisses past you A prisoner, a slave within your own mind Before you know it, everything is gone Your time has run out A wasted life withers away Not a taste of freedom upon your tongue Find the key to the shackles that bound you Fear is your downfall A prisoner, a slave to your fears Face your shackles head on The shackles that keep you from living this life Fear of death, the greatest of all Release your shackles, let them fall Rid your mind of the fear Only then are you truly free
