Seventeen

I'm young and naive. Seventeen years had a lot to teach. Still, there's so much knowledge unknown, So many places I've yet to go. However, there's a lot that I've learned, Badges I've earned, Feelings I've felt, Issues I've dealt. I may still be young, But a lot has been done. I've attempted many things, I've seen what failure means. I've seen love, I've seen hate, I've seen horrid, I've seen great. I've seen depression, I've seen harm; Thoughts live through scars on my arms. I've been at my best, I've been at my worst. I've experienced hunger, I've experienced thirst. Still, I am young and naive, Though seventeen years had a lot to teach.
