Serpent Sway
Observe the movements of a serpent,
see how it moves on the ground
It never moves in a straight line;
always left to right,
right to left
Like a crooked S
That crooked walk is the serpent sway ---
never gonna come straight,
that ain't the serpent way
All I know, is what the Holy Bible say:
don't turn aside to the right hand or to the left
Walk the straight and narrow path ...
stay spiritually deft
The serpent sway is the crooked walk,
shifting right to left, then left to right
Changing the truth is how the wicked talk
The crooked walk is the serpent sway ...
never gonna come at you straight,
so don't learn to walk that way
Don't be a snake in the grass, okay!
