Serenity
To sit upon wet sand, where the sea meets
And hear the soft waves, in constant motion
To see the sun rise in amber light
and feel its silence reflected on the ocean
I'll watch feathered wings glide above their shade,
they give clairity to a sense of vastness
Bringing calm to this space I inhabit,
an ambiance, as motion senenades,
where silence is welcome and peace sought
Though yesterdays and tomorrows,
will come and go
I can claim for one brief moment,
I was here, alone with the world
and its serenity still conscious of life's evanescence
