September Air
September
The month of my grandmother’s birth
The birth of the cool breeze
Flowing through the changing leaves
Where the leaves wave
Waving to the animals changing
Changing their behavior to the weather
Where weather turns bitter
So bitterly cold, just up ahead
The beginning of autumn
Is now at hand, leading towards winter
Secure your dwelling
Both human and beast
For September air is everywhere
