Sentimental Objects

There are certain items kept Sentimental objects are special They hold the good memories Some of us own one object While some of us own several It could be anything owned Mine are several items I treasure to my heart I framed a Christmas card A scene of Colpoy Bay area A painting framed of Wiarton My sewing table plus more A stain glass wheel hand made When the sun shines the colours show My statue dog Scruffy An autograph book of poetry Are sentimental to me

I too agree, a wonderful observation. So many things dear to our hearts from which we cannot part. But besides these memorabilia, it's quite amazing how much stuff we accumulate. They say space abhors a vacuum & thus,the more room, the more accumulation. Take care.

Hello Denis Spilchuk, Yes it is amazing how many things we do accumulate. For me some of these items do lose their meaning to me and then I get rid of them.Keeping the ones that hold more value to me. Enjoy your day my friend.

I completely relate to this Darlene. I have special objects too that mean a lot to me. A candle holder that shows the flame through a leaf pattern, also stained glass angel windows in my home, I have collected rocks and my artwork, etc. I guess my list could get quite long! I'm saving this poem as a FAV :)
