Senses Told
So many joys and pleasures formed
From senses five
So many delights to mind and eye
The gifts the gifts we have derived
from senses five.
Nuances of fragrance formed
of lilac and roses born,
the silken softness of babies breath;
the bitter rich tartness on tongues caressed;
the tinkling tease of chimes in the air
from senses five,
we can but declare,
all about us is lovely, delightful and bold
all from a story five senses told.
