Sending Waves

My feelings flounder
like a sky of dying stars
already snuffed out
yet still sending waves of light
to haunt my heart at midnight

Don't suck up the whole ocean! You might pop!!! I made a really dumb choice on a poem to leave this on. Now everyone is going to wonder what is going on! Sending waves, Isaiah

A tanka seems to be just roomy enough to truly express emotion and feeling. You've done it here. I love the death/continuing life duo... Jack
