Self Respect

Self respect We use to be together All season before now Long years past we were always Birds with same feathers We fly and live together But not too long Little do we know that one day We are bound to separate Am sorry my friends Am doing good with out you I found a way that most of you Refuse to see reason on You choose who you want to be So do I my good friend I own you no apology for the new me I still remain your friend Despite the changes and challenges You got to understand me so We can continue to relate But remember I will not Allow our relationship to make me lose my Self respect Self respect Sometimes silence are better than words Sometimes distance are better off Than togetherness in nothingness There is no friendship among The sheep's and the lions If you can't flow on my frequency Then we can't relate properly Remember everyone got an opinion Don't hate me cos mine is different We cant still build an understanding Despite who we chose to be All I need is a friend like a brother A friend like a lover Corporation instead of competition If you truly love me Respect my silence Respect my Ways Honour my pride and Please don't touch my Self respect
