Secret Place
There is a secret place
Deep down inside my soul
Where I can run to hide
To heal the worldly toll
Where the hand of comfort reaches
To protect and lift my head
From the storms that rage about
When I’m truly filled with dread
I race right there to rest
Great victories in trials
And I know that I am blessed
It’s been there all the while
No matter if it’s flooding
Or the bridge is out ahead
Holy Spirit’s there to comfort
In the secret tear I shed
Everything will be all right
Though other things are lost
All will work for good in life
If I truly count the cost
