Second Chance
This time, dearly beloved, mean what you say,
stay; you create a distance when you're away,
return all my texts, leave the pettiness at bay,
show up this time, bring the overdue bouquet,
love met at my worst, do not credit foul play,
no apologies, tiresome is your routined essay,
breathe bae; problems will run to the doorway,
~ with caution, we learn to love, day-by-day.
