Seasons Under the Sun
The Spring and Autumn Equinox,
a tempered balance in the climate of our days;
in contrast, Summer and Winter Solstice’s,
deem warmth or chilling sunrays.
In spring we sow the promise of new life,
in summer we nurture, through brazen heat,
in autumn we gather together to reap,
in winter the Earth silently falls asleep.
Humbled by nature’s authority;
each season we adjust and comply,
celebrating the gifts and offerings,
rich in tradition, we cannot deny.
