Seasons of Her Time

Yesterday Found her isolated, abandoned, a whirlpool of pain and lies Cold nights, she surrendered to the darkness, rainy skies A sea of emotion built up in her heart, she suffocates almost dies She let it invade and dominate, broken family ties It was her but it's not her, no one heard her silent cries Today Finds her quiet, content and in control Emotions held tight but the scared feeling never goes, Fragile like glass it could shatter in folds Of dirty anger, it seeps, cause unknown, She's at a point with opportunities blessed Yet the people disorientate the Happiness Make her hate, burn, cry and confess Confess ultimate knowledge she should suppress It's out now, to destroy and distress Tomorrow Lies uncertain, she doesn't follow Yet should she wish for love or expect sorrow So undetermined, unhinged this Time is borrowed Wise games are played; distorted and new ones are made Everyday everyone falls in love and hate Someday somebody always will retaliate To this senseless situation, those that struggle will suffocate So She continues to live and pretend Seeks affiliation from lovers and friends Yet the people disorientate the Happiness Make her hate, burn, cry and confess Confess ultimate knowledge she should suppress It's out now to destroy and distress But She lives on sinning, does she repent? Time moves forward, Time is now content.

This was deep. A lot of feeling put into it. Somehow, I feel it comes with the double standard we have for a man's choices and a woman's. Sad, but it does take its toll. I liked this write. It was intelligent and deep. God Bless. Vince
