Seasoned Love
Seasoned Love
Nature may bring…
her sensually sculpted
blooms of spring,
delirious daisies in
blushing iris illusions,
sultry, sizzling suntan
daydreams of summer,
wandering footprint longings
on desolate moon swept beaches,
amorous whispering sweet
fragrances of fall,
pastel palettes writhing
before auburn sunsets
and
white frosted snowfall
fantasies of winter,
icicle drippings
coating drifting desires
But it is you
who brings perfectly
seasoned love
to me each
and every day
of the year
