Summer is a thousand-mile southbound road trip heading To Yellowstone through Montana and Wyoming, With 104F degree air gushing in the vent, And dinner in the Angel Inn, where we went For a chicken smorgasbord snack And a cool six pack. Autumn is a Saskatchewan garden with leaves singing, Tenacious against a hissing wind; and clinging Above the grass, feeling the snow-chilled bite, Anticipating a coming gown of white.
