Sea of Grass
I watch the sea grass sway in the wind
the great ocean of our land
no longer does the its great ships pass
their skelatons long forgotten memories
no more are we considered pioneers
to brave this land
Well settled people call this place
with neighbors just miles away
we are just one community
ready to face hardships
that come are way
but we have a secret
that I will tell
though many say this place
is a settled land
we are still pioneers
we look to the stars and dream,
big dreams.
