School Yard Politics

In the school yard I am a politician I am adding subtracting some sort of division Ladies check out my fresh foamposites I rock with precision Not the smartest my homework always needed a revision So don't copy my answers in class it needs more erudition I am on a mission to score a sweet shorty I am not worried about the competition Running the school yard is my ambition Girls in the corner the boys staring like an exhibition Their is a hierarchy everyone striving for that representation As if their is an invisible partition Cool vs lame concealed segregation An unremitting orientation Not keeping up with the style is unforgiven Forever banished, extradition Tomorrow and the day after will be the same game, endless repetition

Oh how I remember those days, it seemed the schoolyard was the best place to be. The recess bell and exits flooded with kids just anticipating the schoolyard happenings (politics) I like how you did this Sofia. The Queen of the Yard. :)

Wow, yeah, so glad school is a forever shrinking memory, it was so huge, massive at the time; you have captured that angst here so well.

Thank you. Crazy how it felt like the hardest and most important time. In reality, probably was one of the easiest if I wouldn't of cared so much
