Scenes Through a Hill

Upon this misty hill I stand Before these priceless scenes so grand That no one ever saw Beneath, upon a steep so high A glittering golden radiant sky Rooted alone in awe.. No flying bird did ever reach No mountain high could ever breach I think thus as i sigh All so perfect where they are The fragrant wind, the distant star In peace so complete, they lie Then drops of dew, the rippling breeze The tumbling brooks and golden trees Such wonders that I see This misty hill the sun has shown- Amidst this earth that I have known Sweet glory of nature, free. Cannot believe that this charming little poem has not yet been commented on...well - It has now! Particularly love the last verse; if you could duplicate this sort of creativity in future poems people would buy your books - Excellent poetry! My warmest regards...And all the very best for the New Year, Gabby! :) john P.s A much deserved seven.
