Scary Secrets
I have a millions secrets,
give me time and I may tell them to you.
Prove to me I can trust you,
And I'll allow you to look deeper into my heart.
I've been hurt by so many people,
I've turned my heart to stone to somethings.
I've been used by so many friends and strangers,
I no longer trust too many people.
My secrets are little and random,
some are deep and some are on the surface.
I'll share them with you,
If you don't use them to judge me.
I've been humiliated by friends, family and strangers,
It's caused so much pain, I would wonder if anyone cared about me.
I've been pushed away and blamed,
I packed myself into a shell.
But there's good news,
I'm coming out of my shell.
Show me trust and care, not money or false kindness,
And I'll show you my heart, my secrets, my fears.
