Scarred For My Life
God declared mankind as lost
the all righteous perfect holy Lord
who can’t save anyone unrighteous
except the divine one faces the sword
The Lord Jesus became my substitute
in my place condemned He stood
nailed His hands and His feet
His precious blood shed on wood
For His salvation plan to save man
His only begotten son had to die
there on an old rugged cross became sin
paid all mine it’s finished was His cry
This beloved saviour full of love
for my own life was scarred
so I can be set for heaven’s glory
receive merciful grace no longer barred
