Scarlet Thread
Once lyed a scarlet thread, buried within the grass.
A wiseman once said, it bares stories of he past.
It was about 3 inches long, but scripted infinite dreams.
They say it once belonged, to a loner outside this reality.
He was brave and strong, nothing was out of his reach.
Except the angel that he saw...that angel was me.
I speak on his behalf, for he is in to much pain.
I was all he ever had, but I couldnt love him that way.
I feel no remorse, to have left him in the dark.
I meant not to take course, through his lonesome heart.
Till this day, as he loses the will to live
I still cannot say, I felt the way he did.
He loved me dearly, he put me before his well being
but to speak sincerely, fate did not have us to be.
I left him a thread, so he may visualize his past,
but after all was said, it lyes alone in the grass.
