Scandalous Fortune
In the midst of her fancy frolic
unaware my eyes could see
fullsome in her jaded promise
with durst, she graces me
Over and over each year of silence
pushing and tearing a heart revealed
thither betwixt thine jaded love
like the jostling wind of torn departure
Goodbye my simplicity of scandalous fortune
where gold and silver
for me, but not
In treason of promise
alas, my thoughts
bequeath my will of cherished hope
