Scale the Ocean

i feel eyes scraping against my body when i move when i move away the scratches stay remnants of a serrated heart. i see you seeing me, overwhelmed with flattery i dart- drastic attempt to scale the ocean. it is no secret i can't swim, but i swallow the salty great ponds, leaving naked mountains as a trail to me. i want to be found, but i can't stop running.

You have created a great sense of desperation here, great use of words and imagery.
