Saying I Love You Now

For four years I have loved you And right now I sincerely do Exhausted from keeping these words unsaid, Seconds wasted in secrecy to my own dread. A better man will come one day That's what I thought to my own dismay, That's also why I didn't tell you this But my heart and soul now in constraint felt amiss. I'm here today to tell you my vow As long as you will kindly allow, That I love you to the rest of my days and beyond, Permit it please so it doesn't ruin our bond.
