Say Hello To Jane
say hello to jane
she used to like potato pancakes
now she is fighting to stay alive
i just made her smile today with her Blue Bo Bear
something about the way she looks into B3's eyes
it is like God encouraging her by reassuring her that He is there
jane then looks at me with a soft smile, waves at me with gratitude, and points at her heart
i wave my hand back and whisper 'anytime and always'
then i say hello to jane
she just laughs at me safely as i accept a B3 kiss
i then surprise her with a makeshift potato pancake picture book
she then writes me a note on a piece of paper
i laugh heartily at the words 'this is better than dr. seuss and curious george combined!'
after a few hours, i am told visiting hours are over
however, instead of saying goodbye to jane, i say Hello
she tilts her head to the side in confusion
before i leave i say to her 'a little inspiration for tomorrow'....
