Savior
Why did you look through me?
I scream your name as I run towards you
My hands reaching out for you wanting
To touch you but I see you fly away from me
It hurts to see you run from me
The more I try to catch up
To you the more you disappear out of my sight
Are you ashamed of me?
I know I’m dirty
I know I’m filthy
Please, come after me
Please, give me something to fight for
I scream once more but this time not about me
But for you to save me and ask for forgiveness
A bright light flashed and saw the angel gone and I
Fall to my knees tears filling my eyes my body trembling
I guess I’m to lost
I look around as I hear someone say my name
I see a different angel in front of me, but he has no wings
But he’s presence is over-whelming as he spoke
“I come to save you my child”
I fight more tears back wondering if this was a dream
“I am no dream, I will never run from you, you were chasing the
Of angel of light”
He kneeled to me and I saw myself in his eyes,
And I knew he was waiting for me,
And I repeat the words in my mind “I will never run from you”
And I fall forward and wrap myself in my savior’s presence.
