Save Me

As these thoughts begin to fly, I look into death, his eyes. An abyss of dread and black, His cold heart I attempt to crack. As I beg for my life to spare. I give a knock but no ones there... And as I plea for him to give, He still says I will not live. Tears now stain my eyes, As I write my last goodbyes. I stare into to pit of death, And as I take my final breath. I am falling, won't you catch me? Save me from this heart that's kneeling. Light my path, show me the way. So that I can live, just another day. My work is done, My plan has been made. The last tear I'll ever cry, Falling as goodbye this life I bade. I feel the cold of deaths breath, Running down my spine. But my tears have already left. Leaving nothing to call mine. I face my fear head on, And challenge it to the fight. If this world wants me gone, At least I'll go out right. I am falling, won't you save me? Catch me from my falling, maybe? Take my hand, drag me away, So you I can thank someday.
